DARING WOMEN

Authenticity. Connection. Community.

Daring Women is designed for women interested in developing authentic connections with other women while striving to grow into the best versions of themselves.

We use principles developed by Brené Brown to “Dare Greatly” – to be vulnerable with people who are supportive and trustworthy. By doing this we are able to support one another in our dreams, goals and struggles.

ABOUT

Daring Women’s Mission

So what exactly does this group do? Daring women come together to engage in a variety of activities that support our personal growth, connection to others and the community. We adventure out into nature, tap into our innate creativity, expand our knowledge through a variety of speakers and books, and most importantly make time for play. See our calendar to see our upcoming events!

We are not a therapy group, networking group or purely social group. We are women looking to grow, connect and be the change we want to see in the world.

We aim to meet at least once a month, although there are no requirements to attend an event. If that feels too daunting know that you can drop in as your schedule allows. We also have an online community that connects you to additional events, ideas and support from other members.

If you have been feeling lonely, disconnected or want to be a part of something amazing, try it out and see for yourself what it feels like to be with other women who are daring greatly with you.

The Daring Way™ is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. The method was developed to help men, women, and adolescents learn how to show up, be seen, and live braver lives. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing a courage practice that transforms the way we live, love, parent, and lead. It can be facilitated in clinical, educational, and professional settings and is suitable for work with individuals, couples, families, work teams, and organizational leaders.
